The Women in Laundry Leadership group will serve as a networking platform to:

  • Foster professional development through mentorship programs, leadership training, and networking opportunities.
  • Create a supportive community for sharing knowledge, experiences, and strategies for success.
  • Host regular events such as workshops, guest speaker sessions, and discussions, to promote empowerment and innovation within the industry.
  • Advocate for greater visibility and representation of women in leadership roles within the laundry sector.

Why We Do It

The goal of WILL is to address the unique challenges women face in the laundry industry and to empower them to reach their full potential as leaders. By creating the group we aim to:

  • Promote diversity and inclusivity in leadership positions.
  • Build a strong network of women who support and uplift one another.
  • Encourage the next generation of female leaders to step forward with confidence.

Leslie Farmer

Women are increasingly taking on leadership roles across every corner of this industry, and yet when it comes to AI adoption, research shows women are still underrepresented in who is using it, talking about it, and building confidence around it. This session is here to change that.

Leslie Farmer will walk us through practical, accessible AI use cases that go beyond job titles and technical expertise. Whether you are just getting started or have been experimenting for a while, this session is designed to meet you where you are. We will cover general best practices, tips for using AI safely and effectively including what you should and should not share, and the connection between how you already use AI in your personal life and how those same instincts apply to managing a project, staying on top of your schedule, or tackling your inbox.

The same way you might use AI to plan a trip, meal prep for the week, or figure out a gift for someone, you can use it to get ahead at work. The skills are already there. This session is about making that connection and walking away with tools you can actually use.
